Citizens Association for racial equality (cArE)
The Citizens Association for Racial Equality was formed in New Zealand and was around from 1964-1986. Their aim to was to end sporting contact with South Africa for as long as it practiced apartheid. They also fought against racism to smaller groups in New Zealand. During their protest of the Springbok tour CARE also included how Maori people were treated as inferior in New Zealand. However most of the groups fell into the same category as HART, with many groups combining.
